    Do you have that little cup thing... You kind of need that little cup thingy.

    If it's any consolation I set the smoke alarm off during my first time cooking meat... and the second time... Then I learned what the fan was for...

    the same thing happened to me, though I had a measuring cup, did it all right but it still tasted like failure.
