I bought an annual zoo membership card, so I can get more practice drawing animals! I've only visited twice so far, but I'm slowly getting used to the smell... >.>
Gonna see it tomorrow! Love love love Hugh Jackman (especially in The Prestige <333), so even if the movie sucks, I'll still enjoy watching HIM on the big screen =w= hehe
This was an assignment for school, where we had to create a cast of characters set in a specific time period. I chose early Victorian England, and I guess the story is a horror-love-comedy? It's about a girl who has to save her dimwitted brother from his man-eating fiance :0
Here are some animal characters I also did for school. I need to draw animals more, my designs are kinda generic :( That's all for now~
Photoshop CS2. Ah, so cliched, I know~ I wanted to try out some new brush techniques for this class assignment. Started with a B/W tonal then added colours using overlay layers. The sky was fun to paint. The water was the hardest >:0 Critiques please!
That's it, I'm resolving to buy a scanner this weekend for my dorm room, so I can scan stuff and update more frequently! >:I In the meantime, please excuse this massive sketchdump...
This is my final project of the semester for storyboarding class. If I could fix one thing it would be to add more animation movements~ I think I was too ambitious with this, and didn't give enough time for certain sequences to play out :/ Especially when the two kids are flying in the air, I really wanted to extend that for a bit and get them into some crazy hijinks with power lines and airplanes and stuff, but I was running out of time so I had to cut it short :( Oh well, please enjoy!
