Previous animation assignment, where we choose an existing character and animate a head turn accompanied by a lip sync (audio provided by instructors =_= yea...). I decided to do Dean from The Iron Giant, which by the way is my all-time favourite animated feature <3

Hey woo - that's great - Yeah Iron Giant, hard to beat...
Thanks :) Yea, for me it's almost tied with Ratatouille, but I'm a sucker for traditional 2D animation <3
Sorry for the late reply, doodle! You're really from Don Mills? 80 Do I..know you???
And don't be so hard on yourself! One year is a huge amount of time in terms of what you can learn and improve on 80 Everyone has to start from somewhere!
Btw if you never read this comment I totally understand 'cause it's my fault for not checking comments more carefully 8( Sorry again!
Well you did manage to get in out of high school... I got a 1.7... geh.... <_<, yeah, getting better would be a good thing.
No you don't, fairly sure you don't at least, you know Em. I found your blog through her Facebook, and through that the entire Sheridan Blogosphere thing.
Ouch~ >< a 1.7 does seem pretty disheartening, but you know over a thousand people applied this year, much more than last year, so they probaby marked the portfolios a lot tougher. Don't give up! Are you going to Arts Fundamentals and trying again next year?
900 actually <_<. Still record breaking but still.
Illustration slightly better 65/100 when you need a 66.
Yeah, I'm going to be a Fundie. Well they sent me a Visual and Creative arts thing too. Doesn't seem to be much difference though.
Well at least we can see each other in the hallways :3 Lots of great animation students I know started from fundies~ nothing wrong with that!
I know (seemed like half the applicants were fundies). Bitter, got over it though pretty much. bwah.
Good good~ Hey, I never caught your name! 8o Add me on facebook or something, much easier to communicate than here XD
Hehe <3
really like how it's a turn around then a sudden "Meow" great humor in your drawings and storyboards.
